Risk in Context Podcast: Diversity in the Boardroom

While some companies have made advances in ensuring representation within their workforces, there’s still much to do.

This episode of Marsh’s Risk in Context podcast features Lexie Kindbom, Chief Client Officer, Risk Management and Corporate at Marsh Canada, and Craig Claughton, Marsh's Head of FINPRO Pacific, on what diversity in the boardroom means and how companies are progressing on that front.

Key Takeaways:

Diversity in the boardroom can set the tone for the rest of the organisation and bring innovation that can help address a range of complex challenges businesses are facing today.

Regulators, customers, and other stakeholders are increasingly focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the boardroom, making it imperative that businesses take action.

In addition to ensuring diverse representation on boards, companies must also ensure that board are inclusive and members are able to fully express their views on various topics.
