Client Informer: A Principal's Need to Have Public Liability Insurance



It is common practice that on a construction project, the contractor is to arrange the public liability insurance. However, Marsh has noted that there is no cover for a principal under the contractor’s policy for the principal’s own acts or omissions in respect of the works.
