Meet Warren

I am responsible for serving clients and supporting colleagues in the sports and events industry segments on a global basis. I provide leadership in driving revenue growth and client retention by developing and implementing innovative solutions, including insurance products and risk advisory services. One of my primary responsibilities is to draw upon the deep and expansive resources of the Marsh McLennan business units to address the fast-changing and ever-emerging risks inherent in the sports and events industry.

What excites you about working at Marsh?

The collaborative culture of Marsh is incredible. I have always thrived in a team-based setting, so the fact that there are so many talented colleagues with deep expertise in their chosen disciplines is inspiring. I learn more about the talent and expertise at Marsh each day, and that is very exciting.

How do you bring your “whole self” to work?

During the last two or three years, I have learned that bringing my "whole self” to work means being vulnerable. I became affiliated with the Atlanta chapter of the African Heritage Colleague Resource Group several years ago, taking on the position of co-leader and sponsor.

At that time, we were revitalizing the chapter, and I learned that when I left my comfort zone and spoke from my heart, colleagues responded in a very positive manner. So, I believe that when we are genuine, and at times uncomfortable, talking about difficult personal issues, biases, and misunderstandings, we all benefit. These are opportunities to not only learn from each other but embrace each other in many wonderful ways.
