Marsh Wins Captive Manager of the Year and Cell Company Initiative in European & UK Captive Review Awards
Marsh has received the “Captive Manager of the Year” and “Cell Company Initiative” awards in the inaugural "European & UK Captive Review Awards" held in November 2018 in Luxembourg. Hosted by Captive Review, the awards recognize and reward those providers of captive insurance products and services who have outperformed their competitors and demonstrated the highest levels of excellence over the past 12 months.
The "Captive Manager of the Year" award recognizes excellence in all areas of captive management, including evidence of business growth by revenue and client numbers, service offering and, above all, client satisfaction. Captive Review shared that, “Marsh’s global captive platform impressed the judges, as well as its high calibre of talent across the European market in both the leading captive jurisdictions and in client facing consulting roles. Its leverage of the wider MMC group of companies such as Mercer, Oliver Wyman and Guy Carpenter was deemed a valuable resource and the judges were impressed by a series of high quality testimonials from some of the most sophisticated captive owners on the continent.”
Established earlier this year, Mangrove Insurance Europe PCC was a clear winner and judges commented that, “Marsh’s entry into the EU’s PCC market is a welcome addition for the captive sector and the initiative has produced strong client feedback in the first year of operation. Middle market insureds have already begun making good use of the Malta-domiciled vehicle and the judges were impressed by the client testimonials provided.”
