Tom Davies Wins the Digital Minds’ Digital Champion Award for 2018

The Digital Minds Programme, set up by DXC, has been created as a vehicle for driving change in the deeply traditional London insurance market. The market must evolve to become a more efficient, cost-effective, and straightforward place to do business.

The change required needs expertise and care, but crucially, it needs to embrace digital transformation while retaining what makes the London market special.

Tom has been a key voice in promoting a market-wide response to the opportunities that emergent and disruptive technologies present. Through a series of speaking engagements and workshops Tom has engaged and collaborated with carriers to seek solutions and identify areas in need of improvement.

Tom is also a key contributor to various big data projects being developed within Marsh, earning him the title of Data Executive for the Global Energy & Power Practice in 2017. He recently led the Practice’s response to the GDPR. He also acts as Data Leader on one of Marsh’s flagship supermajor oil and gas accounts, and is charged with developing analytics that enhance the value of the client’s engagement with the insurance market.
