GOVERNANCE

Marsh is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which is the independent statutory watchdog that regulates financial services.

Marsh Ltd is a subsidiary of MMC UK Group Limited, it has a branch office in Dublin, Ireland and its ultimate parent company is Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc (“MMC”). MMC is a publicly quoted, multi-national Group.

The Board of Marsh Ltd currently has three Non-Executive Directors, comprising the Chairman, the Vice Chairman and an independent Non-Executive Director, who is independent according to the principles of the UK Corporate Governance Code 2012 (previously the Combined Code). The Board is collectively responsible for the performance and governance of the Company.

The Board has delegated day to day operational matters to the CEO. The CEO is supported by an executive group and Business Unit Committees.

Also in order to assist the Board in discharging its obligations the following Committees of the Marsh Ltd Board have been constituted:-

  • Audit Committee.
  • Risk Committee.
  • Remuneration Committee

Making a Complaint

We constantly strive to provide our clients with excellent customer service and always welcome their views. We are committed to dealing with all complaints efficiently, effectively and fairly.

Our complaints handling procedures set out the process we will follow should you have reason to complain. These procedures follow the requirements and guidance of our regulator, the FCA.
