Pupils’ Personal Effects Scheme

The Pupils’ Personal Effects Scheme provides tailor made insurance, offering parents the option to obtain insurance to cover their child’s possessions whilst at school.

There has been a significant increase in the value of items pupils bring to school. Personal effects such as laptop and tablet computers, electronic organisers, cameras, and sports equipment are now commonplace possessions.

As most schools do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to pupils’ possessions, a growing number of schools have decided to provide parents with the ability to obtain personal effects insurance to cover their child’s possessions.

The pupils’ personal effects (PPE) scheme enables schools to do just that – balancing broad cover with simple administration.

The scheme provides an insurance solution, to cover a child’s possessions whilst at school.
