A Healthy Tradition: Marsh Football Club

What better way to build teamwork and unwind than a friendly game of football? In 2014, colleagues in Vietnam formed a football team as a new addition to other activity clubs such as yoga and dancing. Since then, every Wednesday evenings have been reserved for football games followed by drinks!

Every quarter, the club also plays with insurers’ football teams, and their most recent friendlies were with PetroVietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (they won 3:4) and Post and Telecommunication Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (we won 4:3).

It’s a healthy tradition that has the occasional perks: beyond forging closer relationships with insurers, the games and catch-ups have opened many new area of business cooperation, such as up-sell/cross-sell on insurers’ client base. Score!
