Peter Johnson leads the Risk Consulting business for Marsh Risk across Asia and the Pacific, setting strategy and driving the delivery of complex risk advisory services across diverse markets. He is responsible for building capability and scaling Marsh’s consulting presence across the region to support clients’ risk, resilience and operational needs. He is also a member of the Marsh Risk Pacific Executive Committee, the Marsh Risk Asia Executive Committee and the Global Risk Consulting Executive Committee.

He is responsible for building capability and scaling Marsh’s consulting presence across the region to support clients’ risk, resilience and operational needs. He is also a member of the Marsh Risk Pacific Executive Committee, the Marsh Risk Asia Executive Committee and the Global Risk Consulting Executive Committee.
Peter brings deep expertise deep expertise in risk and insurance, but has also worked in a broad range of sectors across the globe – including the UK and Asia – from private equity and insurance, to telecommunications and aerospace engineering. Since taking responsibility for Risk Consulting Asia in 2019 he has delivered significant growth for the Marsh Risk Asia business, and strengthened his team’s ability to provide practical, outcome-focused advice to clients across industries.
Prior to his appointment in Asia, Peter joined Marsh Risk UK and Ireland in 2015 where he held a range of senior leadership roles across risk consulting, including the role of Head of Strategic Risk Consulting. Prior to Marsh, Peter was Consulting Director for Sciemus, a Strategy Consultant at Bain & Company in London, and a Satellite Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space.
Peter is based in Boorloo (Perth) on Whadjuk Noongar Country and spreads his time across Asia and Pacific.
