In accordance with art.23 of ASF Regulation no. 4/2016 on the organization and functioning of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity in the non-banking financial sector (SAL-FIN), Marsh Broker de Asigurare-Reasigurare SRL, we inform the consumer by this publication on our website regarding the fact:

In the event of an unfavorable resolution of the complaint regarding an insurance product, the consumer has the right to resort to alternative dispute resolution, according to this Regulation and OG no. 38/2015, as well as regarding the conditions for accessing dispute resolution procedures. The entity to which the consumer can address is SAL-FIN.

Marsh Broker de Asigurare-Reasigurare SRL cannot refuse to resolve the dispute within SAL-FIN if the consumer has expressly and voluntarily expressed his/her option for resolution. In this regard, according to the provisions of the ASF Procedure for alternative dispute resolution by proposing a solution within the SAL-FIN of 27.04.2016, the consumer addresses SAL-FIN through a written request and is obliged to follow and comply with the conditions and provisions of the aforementioned ASF Procedure.

Terms of Engagement

The general conditions under which Marsh offers its services is defined in the terms of engagement and sometimes in a personalized service level agreement. A copy of these documents is provided to the client prior to entering a contract with Marsh.

Managing high-risk RCA policyholders

The Romanian Motor Insurers' Bureau (B.A.A.R.) has developed and published the procedure for classifying policyholders in the high-risk category and the steps to follow for them. All details are available on the B.A.A.R. website and the procedure is available here.
