Andrew Fluitsma oversees the strategy and operations of the Corporate and Commercial business across the Pacific region. He also sits on the Marsh Pacific Executive Committee.

Andrew brings more than 20 years’ strategic leadership experience in risk, risk financing and insurance to the Marsh business. Above all, he is passionate about building client-centric cultures, and using insights and creativity to build tailored solutions that make a difference to clients. During his career, he has held several senior executive roles specialising in designing and managing complex programs for both global and local corporations.

Prior to his current appointment, Andrew was the Chief Executive Officer of Honan Insurance Group (Honan), transitioning to Marsh as part of Honan’s acquisition in 2023. Andrew started his insurance career in various Account Executive roles at international brokerages Marsh and Aon, before moving into more senior positions with Honan in 2009.

He is an Associate of the Risk Management Institute of Australia, a member of global leadership group YPO, and a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
