Jono Soo leads Marsh Risk New Zealand’s cyber practice, overseeing cyber risk advisory and insurance solutions across the New Zealand market. As Head of Cyber, he is responsible for developing Marsh’s local cyber proposition, guiding delivery of complex risk transfer and incident response solutions, and shaping capability to meet the evolving cyber landscape.  

Jono brings practical, market-focused cyber expertise to Marsh and its clients, helping New Zealand organisations better understand and manage cyber exposures. He is particularly passionate about lifting cyber risk awareness and preparedness amongst clients, translating technical risk into clear commercial advice and tailored insurance programs that support resilience and recovery. 

Jono joined Marsh in 2013 and has built broad expertise in risk across the Pacific. Prior to his current role he was Acting Head of Corporate Cyber for Australia and has worked in client management and broking support broadly within the business.
