As Head of Marsh Advisory, Nicholas Martin oversees the strategy and operations of the Marsh Advisory division across the Pacific region. He leads a team of professionals who provide a range of risk consulting and advisory services to both corporate and public sector clients.

Before his current role, Nicholas was the leader of the Strategic Risk Consulting (SRC) practice within Marsh Advisory, which encompasses Enterprise Risk Management, Business Resilience (including Crisis Management and Business Continuity), Cyber Security, Work Health and Safety, Climate and Sustainability, and complex Project Management capabilities. He managed a team of over 60 consultants with extensive experience in both the private and public sectors across various industries, focusing on expanding these capabilities into other segments and clients through proposition development, go-to-market strategy, and delivery oversight.

With a career spanning over 25 years in defence, major events, senior corporate positions, risk management, and resilience consulting, Nicholas has firsthand experience in successfully delivering risk and resilience programmes in both corporate and complex operating environments. His prior roles include senior risk and resilience positions at Telstra, Macquarie Bank, Control Risks Group, and AGL Energy, with experience across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Pacific.

Nicholas has designed and delivered complex risk, cyber security, and resilience consulting projects for major Australian and multinational companies in the insurance, logistics, financial services, and energy and resources sectors operating across the Pacific and Asia regions.
