Leadership

Scott Eccleston is responsible for overseeing our regional Risk Management strategy, working with colleagues across the Pacific to bring risk insights, claims expertise and innovative insurance solutions to some of the largest corporations in our region. He is also a member of the Marsh Risk Pacific Executive Committee.

Highly respected and having gained the confidence of his industry peers, Scott has forged solid relationships with underwriters across the world, particularly in London, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. He has used his expertise and leadership to navigate and negotiate complex insurance programs for Marsh’s clients.

Scott has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance and risk management industry. He commenced his career with Marsh, before leaving in 2000 to work for Rio Tinto’s risk financing division, eventually becoming the General Manager for Risk Financing. He returned to broking in 2013 and to Marsh in 2016, where he has since held several senior positions including Head of Global Placement for Marsh Pacific.
