Marsh Australia and New Zealand

Energy Industry Conference 2023

13-14 November | Sydney, Australia

Energy Industry Conference (EIC) 2023 Recap

Following the great success of our Global EIC in Dubai earlier this year, Marsh Australia and New Zealand brought the energy and buzz home last month, hosting an exclusive gathering of energy industry executives, business, risk and insurance leaders from across the region and overseas.

The regional EIC conference took place in Sydney over a jam-packed two day event held on 13-14 November 2023.

The conference comes at a critical time for the energy industry, as our region leads the charge towards a sustainable future. Attendees heard from industry leaders and influencers from the likes of Macquarie Capital, Iberdrola Australia, KIMAenergy, Oliver Wyman and Descartes Underwriting.

The speakers shared valuable insights through a series of interactive masterclasses and panel discussions, exploring the complex and dynamic risks that dominate boardrooms, markets and social agendas. Some of the topics covered include:

  • Energy transition
  • Energy security
  • The climate emergency
  • Supply chain issues
  • Scaling for renewables
  • Offshore wind
  • Risk perception and tolerance
  • Innovative risk financing
  • Mergers and acquisitions and portfolio financing

The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and inspiration as clients, guests and industry experts soaked up  the diverse array of insights and perspectives, while absorbing in engaging conversations around critical and emerging risks facing the energy industry, and collectively exploring solutions to power the energy transition towards a sustainable future.

We look forward to seeing you all again at the next EIC. If you missed out this year or would like to register your interest for our next event, please complete the below form.
