What will be showcased on our stand?

At the NHS Confed Expo, we’ll bring healthcare risks to life. Through a series of interactive demos, we’ll showcase how NHS leaders can better understand, quantify, and ACT on their most complex challenges, from workforce and patient safety, to supply chain resilience and cross sector collaboration. Using data-led insights and practical tools, we’ll show you what’s possible when risk is approached differently. If you’re looking to move beyond theory and see how informed decisions can drive real-system-wide impact, come along, and say hi!

Session One: Integrated insight: strengthening risk and governance for the board

Thursday 11 June · 08:30 – 09:30

Improvement Learning Theatre

This session offers NHS leaders a fresh approach to risk and governance, shifting from retrospective assurance to forward-looking, integrated insights that enable earlier, more informed decision-making.

With practical examples from across the NHS, explore how workforce, operational, safety and financial indicators interact in real-world settings to reveal emerging risks such as psychosocial safety, workforce planning, supply chain dependencies and public-private collaboration.

Through live polling or digital input, share your top risk concerns with the panel of NHS leaders and experts who will explore further and share successful interventions that have enhanced governance, improved oversight and strengthened organisational resilience. The session emphasises a joined-up, less siloed approach to improve visibility, prioritisation and timely action in a complex healthcare environment.

Session Two: Stop, shift, supercharge: creating capacity for the work that matters

Thursday 11 June · 10:30 – 11:30

Exchange 8

Under pressure to protect patient safety while improving productivity, NHS leaders need practical, peer-tested ways to redesign work to facilitate efficiency and impact.

This interactive roundtable brings senior attendees together to test a simple 'stop, shift, supercharge' approach to work redesign, sharing practical examples and identifying immediate, patient-first steps around a single facilitated framework.

The session will surface what’s working, key barriers, and practical steps toward change, to shift thinking around the key role of nurses in patient outcomes.
