Andrew George is President, Marsh Specialty. Based in London, he has overall responsibility for Marsh Specialty’s global business. Prior to this role, he was Global Head of Marsh’s Energy and Power Practice. He has more than 35 years of leadership experience, having joined Marsh in 1988. In 2004, he was appointed Head of Marsh’s Energy Practice for the Middle East and North Africa region, based in Dubai. He then returned to London in 2008 to become CEO of Marsh’s Energy Practice for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In 2012, he was appointed Global Chairman of Marsh’s Energy Practice, which was extended in 2015 to become the Energy & Power Practice. In addition to his responsibilities as President, Marsh Specialty, he is a company-appointed Trustee of the Marsh McLennan UK Pension Fund.
