Engineering Risk Seminar

Risk Engineering at the Heart of the Energy Transition

February 7-8, 2024

Yas Marina Circuit Event Centre

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Marsh’s Energy & Power Practice will hold its fifth Engineering Risk Seminar on 7-8 February 2024 designed to discuss and understand new and emerging risks, risks mitigation, best practices, and the future of risk engineering in the ever-changing energy risk landscape.

Historically the ERS has attracted industry leading energy and power company engineers, and all those associated with the Industry. In a world dominated by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), our 300+ delegates will use our seminar as a forum to consider and debate key areas of risk engineering.

ERS 2024: Risk Engineering at the Heart of the Energy Transition

In 2011, we embarked on a mission to create a platform for the energy industry’s engineering risk practitioners, along with industry collaborators, to engage in dialogues surrounding the intricate landscape of engineering risks within the energy and power sector. After twelve years, our commitment to this vision stands unwavering.

We are thrilled to host the 2024 Engineering Risk Seminar. Over the course of two days, ERS 2024 will provide an exploration of the past, present, and future of engineering risk in the Energy & Power sector. Participants can anticipate thought-provoking presentations, panel discussions, and workshops delivered by industry pioneers, experts, and innovators.

From delving into historical incidents and their lessons to unraveling the latest advancements in risk assessment and engineering technologies and strategies, participants will gain valuable insights and practical knowledge.

With a focus on fostering resilience, participants can look forward to learning about cutting-edge practices, benchmarking approaches, and digital transformation initiatives that drive operational excellence, including strategies to enhance climate resilience and embrace sustainability imperatives.

The seminar will also provide a unique platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among regional and international professionals, facilitating meaningful connections and opportunities for mutual growth.
