In today’s cyber threat environment, cyber insurance underwriting requirements are demanding, especially for companies that are beginning their cyber resilience journey. As a result, some organizations have found it difficult to secure cyber insurance. Subsequently, some organizations look to become insurable by building cyber resilience, and having the right security controls in place is essential. Marsh’s Cyber Pathway offers an innovative approach to cyber insurance coverage that can grow and adapt as an organization matures. Marsh has negotiated with select insurers to provide limited cyber insurance coverage and guidance on the security controls required for insurability. Marsh can help clients implement insurers’ recommended control improvements, which can lead to increased coverage. 

Cyber Pathway is an alternative to a traditional cyber insurance program that requires implementation of key cybersecurity controls being in place. Components of this new solution include:

  • The Marsh Cybersecurity Self-Assessment (CSA), where you will be provided with recommended cybersecurity controls from participating insurers
  • Marsh’s Cybersecurity Marketplace Services, which can help in the selection process for the ”best-for-you” tools and capabilities based on your individual needs
