Tony Bridgman oversees the finance divisions and operations for Marsh New Zealand, managing the company’s fiscal activities and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s objectives. Tony is also a member of the Marsh New Zealand Executive Committee.

Tony has more than 40 years’ experience in strategic corporate accounting, as well as financial management and reporting, both locally and in the UK, making him a highly valued member of Marsh as a business that supports local New Zealand clients with global interests. As such, he has been heavily involved in setting our local strategy, launching new initiatives and shaping the direction of the New Zealand business.

Tony transferred to Marsh New Zealand as part of a merger with Sedgwick Limited in 1999, where he was Group Financial Controller – first for Sedgwick and then for Marsh – before assuming the role of Executive Director of Finance for Marsh in 2005. Prior to this, he spent almost 14 years in business advisory and corporate recovery roles at KPMG and Price Waterhouse.

For the past 10 years, Tony has been Marsh’s representative on the Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand Board, where he is also served as President from 2019 to 2023.

Tony lives and works in Auckland, Tāmaki Makaurau.
