Marsh strengthens commitment to Waikato region

Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor, today announced the appointment of Hamish Bell to its New Zealand Advisory Board. Mr. Bell will support Marsh in developing its services and solutions for organisations operating in the Waikato region.
Mr. Bell is an experienced independent director who, in his 30-year career as a venture capitalist, has advised both listed and private companies in New Zealand and Asia on growth, governance, and strategy issues. He is currently Chair of Te Waka, the Economic Development Agency for the Waikato region.
Marsh provides insurance and risk management advice to small and medium-sized businesses across the Waikato region, and supports large organisations on complex areas of risk such as management liability, trade credit, construction project management, and people risk. Marsh supports colleagues in New Zealand through Te Reo Māori and cultural courses as well as providing education grants to Māori graduates. Marsh’s nationwide volunteering programme, sees colleagues commitment to Māori through engagement in Māori community activities.
