Marsh Honored at 7th Annual Us Captive Review Awards

Marsh has received the “Employee Benefits Consultant” and “Captive Innovation” awards, along with a highly commended nod in the “Captive Manager of the Year” category.  Hosted by Captive Review, the awards recognize and reward those providers of captive insurance products and services who have outperformed their competitors and demonstrated the highest levels of excellence over the past 12 months.

The "Employee Benefits Consultant" award recognizes firms that demonstrate a clear specialism in the area of employee benefits and an ability to work with clients in either the design and implementation of a captive-backed employee benefits programmes and/or the ongoing management and servicing of an employee benefits programme. Our submission was a collaborative approach between Marsh Captive Solutions, Mercer Marsh Benefits, and Mercer demonstrating how we work together to provide a seamless solution for organizations that utilize a captive for employee benefits. The judges noted our joint effort, citing that “Leveraging the full suite of MMC businesses, Marsh was able to demonstrate its holistic employee benefits solutions for captive owners. The judges were impressed by the number of new employee benefits captives brought to market by Marsh during the judging period, and the high quality of client testimonials submitted.”

The “Captive Innovation Award” is meant to recognize those firms that have a proven track record of bringing new ideas, working practices and products to the captive insurance industry. Commenting on the win, judges for the program shared that: “Strong premium growth of the Green Island Reinsurance Treaty demonstrated the continued relevance and innovation of the pooling programme utilised by some of the most sophisticated captives in the world. The facilitation of bi-annual meetings with GIRT participants provides an opportunity for clients to exchange ideas and improve the operation of the pool, ensuring a constant stream of innovation.”
