A Message to Our Clients

Marsh’s priority is the safety and health of our clients, colleagues and communities. As COVID-19 continues to affect how we all do business and interact socially, we want you to know that we’re here for you.

COVID-19 has raised a number of issues related to how companies can manage pandemic risk. From event cancellation and business interruption to employee health and safety, our clients are assessing the impact to their businesses. Marsh & McLennan colleagues are experts in people, risk and strategy, and we stand ready to assist you. Our client relationship managers are reaching out to clients, but please do not hesitate to call us with any questions or issues. With regard to Marsh’s operations, we are taking guidance from local health authorities and making determinations as to what is best for our colleagues’ and their families’ personal safety. As a result, a number of our teams across the globe are working remotely or in staggered shifts in the office. We have the capabilities and plans in place to efficiently make this transition, and we expect that through this period we will maintain our level of service and ability to deliver to you valued insurance placement and risk advice.

We know you are dealing with the challenges of COVID-19 as we are and this is a rapidly developing situation. He oversees Marsh’s brokerage and specialties, underwriting, digital technology, and consulting practices worldwide.  John was named CEO of Marsh in July 2017, and served as president in his prior role at the firm.  He joined Marsh from AIG, where he held a number of executive positions in his 30-year career there. John is a graduate of the University at Buffalo, and is on the board of the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund, and a trustee of the Inner-City Scholarship Fund.
