Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor, today announced the appointment of Andrea Bono as Chief Executive Officer of its newly created Eastern Mediterranean region, which comprises its operations in Cyprus, Greece, Israel, and Turkey, effective January 1st 2021.
In his new role, Mr. Bono will continue as Co-CEO of Marsh Italy, together with Marco Araldi, and will report to Siegmund Fahrig, CEO of Marsh Continental Europe.
Mr. Bono brings over 25 years of experience in risk advisory and insurance broking to the position. He started his career in London at Willis Tower Watson and joined Marsh in 2010 as Head of Marsh Italy’s Risk Management Practice. Having held several senior positions within the business, he became a member of the Board of Directors of Marsh S.p.A in 2016 and was appointed Co-CEO of Marsh Italy in 2019. He will also maintain his role as Chairman of Marsh Risk Consulting Services Srl.
