Singapore, January 13, 2021 – Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor, announced today the appointment of Collin Yap as CEO of Marsh Singapore, effective January 1, 2021. He reports to James Addington-Smith, CEO, South Asia.
In this role Mr. Yap will be responsible for delivering Marsh’s wide range of services and solutions to clients of all sizes across Singapore. He succeeds Iris Teo, who has taken a regional leadership role Marsh’s Insurer Consulting Group Leader for Asia.
Mr. Yap brings extensive industry expertise and leadership experience to the role, most recently as Deputy CEO of Marsh Singapore. Prior to taking up this position in 2019, he served as CEO of JLT Singapore for four years, and President Commissioner of JLT Indonesia for two years.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Addington-Smith said: “Collin combines an understanding of the issues facing companies in Singapore with deep industry knowledge and expertise. I look forward to working closely with him as we deliver the services our clients need.”
