NEW YORK, September 1, 2026 ─ Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), a leading global professional services firm, today announced that Herman Brito has been appointed Marine, Cargo, and Logistics Practice Leader, US and Canada, Marsh Risk, effective October 1. Based in New York, Mr. Brito will report to Michael Pellegrini, Head of Specialty, US and Canada, Marsh Risk.
In this role, Mr. Brito will be responsible for delivering tailored risk advisory and insurance solutions to Marsh’s maritime, cargo and logistics clients throughout the US and Canada. He brings nearly 15 years of marine insurance brokerage experience, having progressed through Marsh in roles of increasing responsibility. He most recently served as the Canada and US East Zone Marine, Cargo and Logistics Practice Leader, Marsh Risk.
Mr. Brito succeeds Janice Kowell, who will remain part of the senior executive team.
