NEW YORK, September 14, 2026 — Marsh (NYSE: MRSH), a leading global professional services firm, today announced the appointment of Christos Adamantiadis as Global Head of Placement and Market Solutions, Marsh Risk, effective November 1, 2026. Mr. Adamantiadis will report to Nick Studer, CEO, Marsh Risk.
In this newly created role, Mr. Adamantiadis will lead Marsh Risk’s global placement and market solutions strategy, working closely with regional leaders and insurers globally to accelerate product innovation and ensure Marsh continues to design, structure, and place best-in-class insurance programs across markets, industries, and client segments.
Mr. Adamantiadis currently serves as CEO, Marsh Europe and President, Marsh Risk Europe. He joined the firm in 2018 as CEO of Marsh Risk’s Middle East and Africa region and was named CEO of its Continental Europe region in 2023 before being promoted to his current position. Prior to joining Marsh, he was CEO of UAE-based Oman Insurance Company for three years. Mr. Adamantiadis also spent 20 years at AIG in various country and regional management roles.
Marsh also announced that John Donnelly, President of Global Placement, will retire from the company early next year, after a distinguished 50-year career in the industry. He will continue to lead key global placement initiatives and support the transition.
