Singapore, 18 March, 2022 – Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor, today announced the appointment of Mohit Kanthra as Leader, Marsh Specialty, Asia. Effective 1 July, Mr. Kanthra will be based in Singapore and report to Lucy Clarke, President, Marsh Specialty and Global Placement, and David Jacob, CEO, Marsh Asia. Mr. Kanthra will also join Marsh’s Asia leadership team and the Global Specialty Executive Committee.
Mr. Kanthra joined Marsh in 2006 and has held several senior management positions in Asia during that time. He is currently Head of Energy & Power, Asia, Marsh Specialty, a position he took up in 2019. Before joining Marsh, he was an Assistant Manager at Tata AIG General Insurance in India for four years.
In this role, Mr. Kanthra will be responsible for Marsh Specialty’s Energy & Power, Credit, Marine, Financial and Professional, Private Equity and M&A, Construction, and Aviation businesses across the region as they develop services and solutions to support clients in managing their risk and insurance needs. He succeeds Simon Delchar, who was recently appointed as Head of Placement, UK & Ireland, Marsh.
