Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor and a business of Marsh McLennan, announced today that Susan Gonzales has joined the firm as its Houston Energy Hub and Office Leader, reporting to Rupert Mackenzie, Head of Energy & Power, Marsh Specialty – Americas.
In this dual role, Ms. Gonzales will lead a team of more than 70 specialists in Houston who focus exclusively on helping Marsh energy clients identify their risk exposures and achieve financial stability via industry-leading insurance solutions. Additionally, as Office Head, Ms. Gonzales will bring together and expand Marsh’s capabilities in Houston, ensuring that clients across industries benefit from the collective expertise and capabilities across Marsh McLennan’s businesses.
Ms. Gonzales joins Marsh from AIG, where she most recently held the position of US Head of Energy Casualty. In this leadership role, she was responsible for strategy execution, guideline development, and production and talent development. Prior to joining AIG in 2011, Ms. Gonzales spent eight years as an account executive with Lockton.
