Senior Living & LTC: Uniting voices to address the workforce crisis

With the promise of a federal skilled nursing staffing mandate looming, learn what you can do educate the Hill and make your voice heard.

While Congress considers minimum staffing ratios for long-term care providers, the healthcare industry as a whole continues to struggle with workforce challenges. With the promise of a federal skilled nursing staffing mandate looming, it’s not just LTCs that are on pins and needles as providers across the board are also seeing some states responding with mandates of their own.

In this episode of Risk Insights: Senior Living & LTC, host Tara Clayton sits down with Scott Tittle, Head of Government Relations and External Affairs for VIUM Capital. Together, they examine the staffing challenges the health care industry is facing, questions surrounding compliance with the pending staffing ratios, and what owners, operators, and healthcare providers can do educate the Hill and make their voices heard.
