Patrick Browne is a Senior Vice President in Marsh’s Transactional Risk Practice, where he focuses on creating tax insurance solutions for clients on a wide range of US federal, state, local, and foreign income tax matters. His areas of focus include tax insurance solutions in connection with restructurings, M&A transactions, mitigation of balance sheet tax exposures, and the financing and structuring of renewable energy and low carbon projects (including renewable energy tax credits).

Leon Steenkamp

Leon Steenkamp is the Head of Tax Insurance in Marsh’s UK Transactional Risk practice. Since joining Marsh in 2018, he has advised on numerous tax risks and tax policies with insurance limits from US$1 million to limits in excess of US$800 million for a single policy, working closely with a broad range of clients, including private equity funds and corporates. Prior to joining Marsh, he worked at EY London, where he was a Tax Director in the M&A tax team.

Alexander Skuratovski heads Marsh’s Tax Insurance Business in Europe. He is a German-qualified attorney and tax advisor with over 20 years of experience advising international clients on tax matters, with a focus on M&A and tax restructuring. Since 2020, he has been serving as Head of Tax Risk for Marsh in Germany. In 2024, he assumed the role of Head of the Tax Insurance Business for Europe. Prior to his current position at Marsh, he worked as a Senior Tax Underwriter (M&A) at AIG in Frankfurt. Before that, he held the role of Tax Director at PwC for several years.

Mark McTigue is a Managing Director in Marsh’s Transactional Risk Practice, and co-leads the tax insurance business in North America.
