Meet Sherifa

I am a team manager in the Multinational Client Services, responsible for managing global Property, Casualty, and FINPRO insurance for Fortune 100 multinational clients. I customize, benchmark, and evaluate insurance products to meet the client's global risk and insurance management needs. In addition, I am responsible for placing multiple lines of business for global accounts across countries in the Middle East and North Africa whilst maintaining steady correspondence with stakeholders across the gulf to adhere to ever-changing local regulations. 

Previously I worked as a Client Advisor in the Risk Management Practice in Egypt by placing and servicing local construction, property, and energy projects.

With the support and encouragement of my mentors, I wholeheartedly practice personalization at Marsh day in and day out by onboarding some of the most challenging and complex risks. We apply critical thinking and character to exceed our client’s expectations by providing bespoke solutions even when we’ve been obliged, at times, to develop things ad hoc.

What excites you about working at Marsh?

Marsh's passion for growing its own talent is what excites me most. I joined Marsh through the graduate program, whereby I met colleagues all over the world. Whenever I asked people why they joined the insurance brokerage industry, the recurring theme was that it had been "unintended."  Yet, I noticed that people at Marsh stayed because they love doing what they do. Marsh’s working environment embraces and promotes diversity among colleagues, compassion to address our client needs, and the courage to advocate on our clients’ behalf.
