Cyber Catalyst by MarshSM is a ground-breaking way for organizations to make more informed choices about cybersecurity products to help reduce cyber risk.
In the Cyber CatalystSM program, leading cyber insurers evaluate and identify solutions they consider effective in reducing cyber risk. Participating insurers include Allianz; AXA XL, a division of AXA; AXIS; Beazley; CFC; Munich Re; Sompo International; and Zurich North America.
Cybersecurity products and services viewed as effective in reducing cyber risk will be designated as “Cyber Catalyst”. Organizations that adopt Cyber Catalyst-designated solutions may qualify for enhanced terms and conditions on cyber insurance policies from participating insurers.
Meeting an Important Market Need
The $150 billion cybersecurity marketplace offers thousands of products, but companies can find it challenging to evaluate those offerings given limited resources and expertise.
Cyber insurers have valuable insight in this area: they have responded to the most costly, catastrophic cyber events of the past decade, and have extensive experience engaging with cybersecurity vendors and products.
Cyber Catalyst by Marsh is a first-of-its kind program to give organizations greater clarity and confidence in choosing cybersecurity solutions that can have a meaningful impact on cyber risk, and that matter to cyber insurers.
