Raul Munoz

Raul Munoz leads Marsh’s Mining & Natural Resources practice across the United States and Canada, overseeing strategy, client engagement, and industry development for one of the firm’s most important global sectors. He advises mining companies, project developers, investors, and lenders on managing risk throughout the mining lifecycle, from exploration and project development to construction, operations, and closure.

Stephen Kay

Managing Director – Marsh Credit Specialties

  • United States

Stephen is Managing Director at Marsh Credit Specialties based in New York and Montreal, working on strategic clients. He is a 16-year veteran of Marsh following a career in credit and political risk underwriting and banking at AIG, Citibank, Royal Bank of Canada and EDC. Prior to his current role, Steve was global Head of Infrastructure Business Development at Marsh and formerly led Marsh’s US Credit Specialties team focusing on non-payment insurance for development banks, multilateral clients and commercial banks, and on political risk insurance (PRI) for lenders and corporate clients. Stephen recently co-authored Marsh’s white paper co-published with S&P Global entitled “A new perspective on the cost and benefits of political risk insurance”, which takes an innovative look at Political Risk Insurance through a quantitative lens, using a capital budgeting framework.

Mark Tanaka

SVP - National Machinery & Equipment Leader at Marsh Advisory

Based in Marsh’s Vancouver office, Mark is Marsh Advisory’s National Machinery and Equipment Leader, managing a group of specialized consultants in addition to providing risk analysis, property and machinery loss control services to Marsh’s Global portfolio. Mark’s specialties and experience include Pulp and Paper, Mining, Molten metals, Power generation, Manufacturing, Industrial control systems and various other industries.

Ed Woolcock

Director – Climate Centre of Excellence, Risk Consulting

  • United Kingdom

Edmund Woolcock is a leader in risk consulting, and has been appointed as the director of the Climate centre of excellence at Marsh UK. Ed specializes in strategic risk advising on thematic emerging risks including climate change and geopolitics with a particular focus on the insurance sector and its ability to grasp growth opportunities as the risk landscape evolves.

Julien Ducloy

Cyber Consulting Lead, Marsh Risk Canada

A Risk Management specialist for 15 years, Julien started his career at Paris Airports, in the Risk Department. Following this experience he held risk consulting positions at EY Risk Advisory and Capgemini Consulting. He joined Marsh Risk Consulting in 2008 and formed the Enterprise Risk Management Practice, while also addressing technological and cyber risk exposures. In 2015 he joined Marsh Risk Consulting Canada as the National ERM and Cyber Risk Leader. Julien graduated as an Engineer from the Higher Institute of Electronics in Paris and holds a Risk Management MBA from Ecole Normale Superieure de Paris-Saclay (FR).
