KyungTae (KT) Koo
Chief Executive Officer, Marsh Korea
Kyung Tae (KT) Koo has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Marsh Korea effective April 1, 2026.
KT Koo brings extensive experience and strategic insight to this role, with a proven track record in developing large clients through multi-line expertise and risk consulting services. He joined Marsh Risk Korea in 2000 and has served various leadership roles including Multinational Client Leader, Risk Management Leader and Chief Client Officer for over two decades. Prior to rejoining Marsh Risk Korea in 2021, he held an executive position at Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance. From 2025, KT held key leadership roles as the President of Marsh Risk Korea.
In his new capacity, KT Koo will oversee the operations of Marsh Korea, including both Marsh Risk and Mercer businesses.
KT Koo graduated from Yonsei University in 1989 with a degree in Political and Diplomatic Studies
